Founding Chairman, Imagin Natural Resources, LLC

As the founding Chairman of Imagin Natural Resources, LLC, (“INR”), a natural resources investment and operating company specializing in coal and other diversified mineral investments, Garold “Gerry” Spindler utilizes his thirty-five years experience in the mining industry to guide and advise on mining-related investments and operating strategies worldwide. Prior to joining INR in 2007, Mr. Spindler served as Chief Executive Officer of UK Coal plc in Doncaster, England for three years. During that time, he engineered a business turnaround resulting in a share price increase of more than 500%. With a worldwide reputation for mining excellence, Mr. Spindler has recently served as a Non-Executive Board Member for both British and Ukrainian-based coal companies. His career includes a number of senior-level positions within the United States, Canada and Australia. Notably, he was President and CEO of The Pittston Coal Group where he led a float of Pittston Mineral Ventures as a spinoff of The Pittston Company. He also served as President and CEO of Cyprus Amax Minerals Company where he engineered the sale of several properties including Cyprus Amax Coal Company. The early years of his career were spent at Consolidated Coal Company where he held numerous progressively more responsible positions including Vice President Exploration and head of the Transportation and Baltimore Dock divisions.
