Chris Tynan Manager

Chris brings extensive energy industry experience to Verdeo Group in the areas of project development, operations, finance and public policy. Prior to joining Verdeo, he worked at AES Corporation where he focused on commercial operations and risk management for coal, natural gas, power and emissions markets. Chris previously led the statewide alternative energy initiative for the Illinois Coalition for Science and Technology. In that role, Chris brought together senior leadership from government, academia and the private sector to define common policy goals, attract research and development projects to the state, and commercialize early stage technologies. Chris has also worked for both Energy Investors Fund and Hudson Clean Energy Partners and led alternative energy venture investments during his time at the Illinois Coalition. He holds an MBA in finance from the Wharton School and a BSc in economics and philosophy with Honours from the London School of Economics. Chris is a prolific traveler, having visited more than 25 countries on 5 continents.
