Kate Faulhaber Manager
Kate is an experienced developer of emission reduction projects, and has a background in science and policy research with an emphasis on emerging technologies and climate change. In her current role at Verdeo, she manages carbon project implementation and assists with methodology development and corporate strategy. Prior to joining Verdeo, Kate was a Senior Project Manager at EcoSecurities, an international carbon offset developer. As part of the Implementation team, she screened projects for their emission reduction potential, developed project documentation and offset quantification, and managed projects from implementation through the delivery of carbon offsets. She also assisted EcoSecurities' U.S. division with developing new offset sectors and managed relationships with a variety of voluntary offset standard organizations. Kate has also worked as a consultant for several institutions on other climate change issues, including the impact of sea level rise for the NYC Department of Long-Term Planning and carbon sequestration in wetlands for Ducks Unlimited. She has studied ecology, watershed management, sustainable development and environmental policy domestically and internationally, including projects in Jamaica, Puerto Rico and Mexico.
